your brittle skin deserves to absorb the sun’s light. your veins, uninspired, crave its radiating heat. your lungs expand to the rhythm of its cycle. rising, collapsing, but breathing- a new perspective is born.

your thoughts, elevated, reach for the sun above.

i’ll crawl into your head at night. through your ears. with devil-controlled eyes. reaching your untouchable filth. the thrill of getting caught. mesmerized by your leaking thoughts.

i’ll scrape the walls of your brain. sneak behind your vision. control your puppet eyes. a grand demonstration of what no one else saw. remind you of why you wanted me out of your mind.

what a celebration of our devil-controlled eyes.

i woke up in love with the world today. the horizon seems more colorful. the water, the clouds, at ease. the people, they’re not as bad as they seem. the sunlight serving us all equally. our impact, fully in our hands.

it’s at this moment that the morning light softly dances on the concrete and reflects back towards the sun herself. when she is well rested and ready to shine her rawest, most purest sunshine of the day. when the burdens of the day have not yet weighed her down into a sunset.

and as i look ahead, facing the water glistening for my attention, i beg for the sun to keep my passions burning. i beg the horizon to have no end.
